Nineteen Yorktown runners complete Marine Corps Marathon

Nineteen athletes from Yorktown completed the Marine Corps Marathon Oct. 28 in Arlington.

The runners from Yorktown and their finishing times were Andrew Cutler, 55, 3:06:07; Theodore Bloomer, 42, 3:16:08; Jon Hendrickson, 34, 3:51:36; James Shirley, 45, 4:02:12; Jennifer Reinkober, 42, 4:11:57; Marcy Singson, 30, 4:21:41; Jeff Combs, 45, 4:29:03; George Zaniewski, 49, 4:29:10; Heather Young, 38, 4:30:32; Chris Young, 45, 4:30:33; Nate McNeely, 35, 4:38:14; Josue Coloma, 26, 4:49:46; Judith Stephens, 48, 4:58:00; Aaron Wagner, 30, 4:59:32; Mina Tabibi, 31, 5:04:27; Elizabeth Rowe, 53, 6:04:49; Donald Rowe, 56, 6:04:50; Brian Dunn Jr., 23, 6:21:22; and Brian Dunn, 51, 6:22:23.

Race organizers said 23,520 runners finished the 26.2-mile race.

Augustus Maiyo, of Colorado Springs, Colo., won the race with a time of 2:20:20. Hirut Guanqul, of Ellicott City, Md., won the women's division in 2:42:03.
