Three Seaford runners complete Virginia is for Lovers 14K

Three Seaford athletes completed the Virginia is for Lovers 14K on Feb. 9 in Virginia Beach.

The runners from Seaford and their finishing times were Sherry Collins, 53, 1:41:07; Jennifer Rowe, 27, 1:49:28; and Natasha Carr, 45, 1:54:27.

Race organizers said 2,361 runners finished the 14K race, which began and ended at Virginia Beach Field House.

Ryan Carroll, of Portsmouth, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 45:06, while Gina Slaby, of Virginia Beach, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 51:02.
